HOME / HOW IT WORKS

From booking to collection

What the dolly does on site, how it fits Powerwall 2 and Powerwall 3, and what happens at each stage of the hire.

01 / BOOK

Send the job dates

Tell us the site postcode and the dates you need the dolly. We confirm availability and quote hire plus delivery in one figure.

02 / DELIVERED

It arrives before the install

The dolly reaches site the day before or the morning of the job, giving you time to check it over before the lift. Or collect from Manchester and pay no delivery at all.

03 / LIFT

Fit, lift, position

Attach via slide rails and locking plate (Powerwall 3) or adjustable straps (Powerwall 2 / Powerwall+). The drill-driven lead screw raises and lowers the unit with precision using a standard 18–20V drill. Pneumatic tyres and hydraulic disc brakes handle stairs and uneven ground.

04 / COLLECTED

We take it back

Once the job is done we arrange collection. No cleaning, no servicing, no storage between jobs on your end.

Compatibility

Built for Powerwall 2 and Powerwall 3

Tesla's installation manuals list the dolly as the preferred lifting method for both generations, while allowing any lift equipment rated to 130 kg as an alternative. It is a speed and safety upgrade, not a compliance requirement.

PW3

Powerwall 3

Slide rails and a locking plate attach directly to the unit for a firm, repeatable fit through the lift.

PW2

Powerwall 2 / Powerwall+

Adjustable straps take the earlier form factor, rated to the same 130 kg capacity.

18–20V

Any cordless drill

The lead-screw lift is drill-driven. Bring the drill you already own — no impact driver, no specialist tooling.
